About Kaplan Business School
The Melbourne campus is located in Docklands which is situated within walking from Melbourne’s central business district. The Docklands area features a retail, dining, leisure and sporting precinct with wide promenades along the waterfront and the green oasis of Docklands Park. Various public transport are easily accessible which include bus, train, tram or car.
The Sydney campus is located in Sydney’s Central Business District (CBD) which is only few minutes away from the Queen Victoria Building, Pitt Street Mall, and Chinatown. As the campus is located directly across the road from Town Hall station, the campus is easily accessible by public transport. In addition, the location of this campus is located in a location where students can enjoy all that the city has to offer including shopping, food and entertainment.
The Adelaide campus is situated in the Adelaide’s Central Business District (CBD) which is conveniently located next to a bus stop and with easy access to both the train and tram.
The Brisbane campus is situated not far from Brisbane’s Central Business District (CBD) and it is located close to major transport hubs. Shops, parklands, cafes and bars can be found in the surrounding streets.

The campus is located on the harbour sets Sydney apart as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and with miles of sandy beaches to suit the warm climate and lifestyle of its residents, Sydney consistently upholds the reputation of one of the most beautiful and liveable cities in the world. Sydney has a mediterranean-style surroundings. Summers are warm to hot and winters are mild with rainfall spread throughout the year.
Grenfell Street runs parallel to Rundle Mall, the cities pedestrian shopping mall which features many stores, eateries and popular nightspots. Unlike other major cities in Australia, Adelaide is a planned city, the centre is compact, easy to navigate around and surrounded on all sides by spacious, green parklands. Streets are wide and rarely any congested, locals are friendly and relaxed and the sandy beaches or Adelaide Hills are within a half hour by public transport. Adelaide is considered as the home of education and sits within the festival state of Australia, playing host to a number of events exploring art, culture, food and music. Adelaide has winters and summers.
Brisbane is a green city with one of the fastest growing economies in Australia. It is increasingly diverse, and boasts a swimming beach in the middle of the CBD, which is located along the Brisbane River. The city’s peaceful surroundings are a part of Brisbane’s charm. The status as a New World City explains clearly that Brisbane is a multi-cultural hub of creativity offers students an accessible lifestyle amongst friendly locals. Brisbane has summers and winters.
There are several accommodations provided for the students to choose from while studying at Kaplan.
- Homestay is an arrangement whereby students live with a family in their home which provides them an opportunity to have a uniquely Australian experience. As Australia is a multicultural country, homestay accommodation can also provide an opportunity for them to understand different cultures and develop an appreciation for other ways of living. The homestay experience is ideal for whoever wants to develop their English language skills and assists them to adjust comfortably into Australian society.
- Student hostels offer independence within a young environment where it is easy to make friends for students. Usually these accommodations consist of a fully furnished bed or study room, gain access to shared kitchens, bathrooms and other facilities. The price varies depending on the location and type of room required by them.
- This form of accommodation provides more independence, privacy and freedom than other forms. Students will need to find their own property, however the Institution can provide help if needed. Potential renters are required to sign a lease of at least six months (sometimes 12 months), pay a bond of four weeks’ rent, and provide references. Some rental properties will not be furnished, so students should consider the cost of purchasing furniture as well.
