About SEGi University Kota Damansara

SEGi University Group is a private university in Malaysia with more than 27,000 students at its university and college campuses in Subang Jaya, Kota Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Sarawak. SEGi University offers programmes affiliated with University of Abertay Dundee, University of Greenwich, University of Sunderland, University of St Mark and St John, and University of Teesside from the United Kingdom, University of Southern Queensland, Australia and Upper Iowa University in the United States. 

Campus information

Located opposite the scenic Lake Cova, this premier institute is housed across ten acres in a purpose-built campus. The University boasts of top-notch research and recreational facilities. The architecture at the campus is colonial and Roman-inspired.

Accommodation

The Student Service Centre (SSC) provides assistance to students looking for a place to live while studying at SEGi. They help international and outstation students with information on accommodation routes, pricing and facilities. Students are usually accommodated in the college-managed hostel or private hostels. All housing options are reasonably priced and there is something in the wide range of options for everyone.

Student Residence Hall
Located within the main campus, this air-conditioned accommodation provides students with a bed, study table, chair, cupboard and fan. Shared facilities like television, lounge, toilets, cafeteria, convenience store and washing machines make it a suitable, secure and comfortable place to stay.

Private Accommodation
The Student Service Centre provides a list of private accommodation options to students who opt for more privacy and independence. Students are encouraged to stay close to the campus though there is no fixed location. Students can also check local listings in the classifieds section of the local newspaper. The various accommodation options are single, twin-sharing, partly furnished, fully furnished or staying with a family with rent being paid directly to the landlord on a monthly basis..
