UCSI students go on internship for at least two months each year. Campus information

Fully wireless, the Kuala Lumpur campus is situated on a sprawling 19-acre piece of land and offers cutting-edge access to the world of e-learning and e-resources. This purpose-built Campus can accommodate over 15,000 students.

Founded in 2007, the Terengganu Campus opened its doors to medical students in their third to fifth years of study. This Campus houses students undergoing their clinical training at the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital in Kuala Terengganu; the School of Education; and the oil and gas management degree programmes run under the Faculty of  Business and Information Science.

The Sarawak Campus provides a dynamic and stimulating environment – in which to study hospitality, tourism, events management, retailing, industrial relations and international business – and is strongly linked with the industry's best. These include Four Points by Sheraton of Starwood Hotels and Resort Worldwide, the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, and the Sarawak Tourism Board, among others.

UCSI University's main campus is situated in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur with convenient access to numerous facilities like banks, restaurants, transportation services, entertainment, and accommodation.

Getting there by bus:

  • RapidKL buses are divided into four classes, and tickets are all-day passes on the same class of bus, excluding express bus routes. E.g. "City Bus" services run around the city centre whereas "Main Bus" routes run from the centre to the suburbs.

Getting there by taxi:

  • Flat fare is RM3.00 for the first kilometre and RM0.10 for every subsequent 115 metres. Other additional charges include highway toll charges, 50% surcharge for trips made between midnight and 6.00am and RM1.00 for each piece of luggage loaded into the taxi, to name a few.
  • However, kindly note that prepaid coupon systems are used for taxis at the KTM KL train station, the KL Sentral transportation hub and Kuala Lumpur International Airport.


The University offers comprehensive on-campus accommodation for students wishing to live on-campus. Residential Halls provide twin-sharing air-conditioned rooms, are segregated into male and female quarters and equipped with communal areas for family and friends.

Angkasa Condo is one of the popular and convenient off-campus accommodations for UCSI University students. It offers shared and single rooms, with optional air-conditioning. There is 24-hour security to ensure the safety of students and to safeguard the premises.
