About this course
The Master of Construction Management course aims to prepare graduates for future roles in managing people, equipment, materials, technological processes and funds in construction, building and maintenance of buildings, and assets in the civil infrastructure. It aims to facilitate the study of advanced management and engineering techniques in the fields of construction, building and maintenance.
The duration of study is 1.5 years full-time or equivalent part-time. Students will undergo three long semesters of 12 weeks and two short semesters of 6 weeks. Each unit of study has a minimum 5 hours of class contact time per week or equivalent. Classes are normally held on weeknights or on weekends.
- Applicants should have a recognised bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, building, architecture, quantity surveying, construction management, real estate and other cognate engineering/technology disciplines, or other equivalent qualification.
English Language Requirements:
- Obtain a minimum of IELTS overall band of 6.5 with no individual band below 6.0, or TOEFL (paper-based) minimum score of 5500 (with Test of Written English score of 5), or TOEFL (internet-based) minimum score of 79 with no individual band below 18.
- Successfully complete a first degree with English as the medium of instruction.
