About this course

This course is designed for those who are keen to pursue a career in hospitality and catering establishments. This programme will develop the knowledge that you will have gained on a level 2 course and it will teach you a variety of catering craft skills to the high standard needed for this level. It will provide you with the latest skills and approach to hospitality industry practices, food safety, and health and safety. It will also give you good foundation knowledge in a wide range of cooking skills to apply across a variety of catering contexts. All of this is essential grounding for those keen to progress in catering and to develop high standards.

Entry Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 GCSEs grade C or higher, one being English or maths or a related Level 2 vocational course at Merit or higher (if a Pass grade is achieved GCSE grades and/or functional skills results can also be considered).
  • English and maths assessed at Level 1 or above.
