About this course
The MICPA Programme couples theoretical knowledge with 3 years of relevant practical experience overseen by a mentor with an Approved Training Employer. The practical experience will build upon a candidate’s academic excellence by providing candidates with an avenue to apply the theoretical knowledge to real-life cases whilst developing professional skills and values relevant to the candidate’s specific job. Upon fulfilling MICPA membership requirements, candidates will qualify for full MICPA and CAANZ memberships.
Candidates are required to complete five (5) modules covering concepts and principles underpinning accounting in all its disciplines.
The modules and examinations are identical to that offered by CAANZ in Australia and New Zealand with the exception of the Taxation module which has been adapted to Malaysian taxation regulations to provide greater relevance for careers in Malaysia.
