Campus information

Innovate:

  • The new Intellectual Commons on the east campus, the center of academic life at TCU, is open to students for day, night and weekend study.
    • Rees-Jones Hall features an innovation incubator, “smart” classrooms and interdisciplinary spaces.
    • An addition to and renovation of the Annie Richardson Bass Building provides the Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences with professional settings that feature the same enhanced health care technology used in hospitals.
    • The Mary Couts Burnett Library has been transformed into a technology and multimedia-rich environment that is connected to Rees-Jones Hall.
    • Construction document design is the next step to be taken by the Neeley School of Business to create an ambitious new academic complex.
  • The Worth Hills Multipurpose Building complements three new residence halls — Marion Hall, Pamela and Edward Clark Hall and Marlene Moss Hays Hall — and provides increased food service and study space.
  • With the completion of upgrades to Colby Hall, every historical residence hall has been completely renovated in recent years.
  • The university continues a multiyear effort to bring all classrooms, laboratories and other teaching spaces to state-of-the-art standards.
  • Sixteen new buildings and major renovation projects have been certified as Gold or Silver by the U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
  • The 278-acre, park-like campus is located in a residential neighborhood five miles from the heart of downtown Fort Worth.

Point of pride:

Rees-Jones Hall facilitates creative, intellectual ‘collisions’ to encourage student/faculty collaboration across multiple fields.

Situated in a nice residential neighborhood, TCU is spread over 277 beautifully landscaped acres, with more trees, grass and flowers than you would expect. The campus is four miles from downtown Fort Worth, but you will find conveniences such as banks, drugstores and a grocery store within walking distance of your residence hall. The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is just 30 miles from TCU.

Accommodation

The Housing and Residence Life office in PE Clark Hall has many resources for students looking for homes off campus. We provide students with some tools to assist them in finding a place that will maximize their enjoyment in their new living experience. Currently, there is limited housing on campus for TCU juniors and seniors. However, there is a range of off campus housing close to campus to fit students needs.
