About Quest International University Perak (QIUP)

A private and comprehensive research-led university established under the Higher Educational Institutions Act 555 and owned by Global Integrated Training Associates Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Blair Education Services Sdn. Bhd), Quest International University Perak (QIUP)(DU021(A)) is strategically located in Ipoh, at the State of Perak. 
Its interim campus is strategically located in Ipoh, voted as one of the top 10 best places in Asia by Lonely Planet, away from hustle and bustle of inner city life and this together with the proximate location of student accommodation, translates to lower cost of living as compared to other major cities in the country.

With the growing demand of students ,QI Group will be setting up a new QIUP permanent campus in a great landscape of an ecological environment springing up in Bandar Meru Raya, in Ipoh. This concept of the latest QI City Project, spread across 26 acres, will be a mixed residential and commercial edu-city development and the first of its kind fully integrated education hub in the country. Nestled in a township fast becoming known as “The New Heartbeat of Ipoh”, the QI City development is set to be a catalyst that will boost the state’s appeal as an investment destination of choice.

QIUP’s new campus is expected to be ready by 2019 with a capacity to cater for an estimated 10,000 student population at the university.

Ipoh City, is Malaysia third largest city in the country with a population of over 710,000 people and a gateway to the Cameron Highlands. 

Ipoh cities into the turn of 19th century to developed the booming tin-mining industry propelled the sleepy town into the height of its glory peaked in the 1950s when during the British colonial era. Architecturally, the city centre is characterized by colonial era Chinese shop houses and several impressive historical buildings from the British Colonial era such as the Railway Station, the Town Hall and the Court House. At the 1970s the economical of tin-mining industry of pricing collapse and the city's growth stagnated tin mines were closed. The booming tin mining industry of ipoh story was thus brought to a close (1970s).

Accommodation

QIUP Hostel is the accommodation for students who yearn to experience living independently as a young adult in a secured condominium environment. Nestled in the plush greenery of Tambun hills, students will have the option of staying in a Single or Twin-sharing room, with 4 or 6 occupants to a unit.

QIUP Hostel is not just an accommodation but also a safe place for its students to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. Besides 24-hour security surveillance, transportation is also provided to shuttle students between the residence and the city campus which is just a 15 minutes ride. There is no need to worry regarding access to the Internet as residents can remain connected via the common Wi-Fi room for their studies, discussions and research purposes.

All rooms and units are furnished with the necessary equipment for students to live comfortably. We also have installed a security check-in point outside each unit to ensure the QIUP appointed security personnel will make their rounds every hour to ensure safety.
