Indiana University Bloomington is one of the core campuses of Indiana University—a seven-campus university system with locations throughout the state of Indiana.
More than 40,000 students spend their days on the Bloomington campus, including an international population of almost 8,000. With more than 750 clubs, 24 sports teams, and thousands of fine arts exhibitions and performances each year, you will always have something to do.
About 80,000 people call Bloomington home. It combines a small-town atmosphere with the amenities of a much bigger city. You will find a host of international grocery stores, restaurants featuring global cuisines, and ethnic festivals. You will also find a farmers' market, courthouse square, and other traditional attributes of this region in the United States.
First-year undergraduate students are required to live on campus.
