About this course
The AAT Level 4 Accounting Diploma course is the final level of the AAT Technician qualification. As with the other levels, the course aims to provide you with the relevant and practical skills necessary to gain employment in a range of accounting and finance jobs. Gaining an AAT qualification, opens up a world of possibilities. Accounting technicians can be found in all sectors of the economy, from industry to public services, from commerce to accountancy practices. Accounting technicians can be found at different levels too – from accounts clerks to financial controllers. In smaller organisations, accounting technicians may be the only fully trained and qualified accountancy staff.
Students would normally be expected to have completed the Level 3 Diploma course. Some students with several years' accountancy experience at a managerial level may be able to proceed directly on to the level 4 Diploma, following a successful interview, and completion of both the AAT on-line skills check and an initial assessment.
