About this course

This course aims to provide you with a range of practical skills and knowledge to enable you to work in a variety of positions within the Computing industry. You will develop technical skills, personal qualities and attributes essential for successful performance in working life.

You will study up-to-date topics such as programming, web development, systems development process.

Focusing on professional skills within the IT industry, you will gain the ability to apply relevant principles and techniques to the analysis, design and development of modern software solutions. You will develop the academic skills needed to cope with a rapidly evolving environment.

This HND course provides an excellent stepping stone to allow you to move directly into a career in Computing.

Entry Requirements

80 tariff points including a minimum of 60 points from one A-Level or equivalent.

You should have GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above or Key Skills Communication and Application of Number at Level 2.
