About this course
The Certificate in Printmaking consists of six, ten-week terms, covering a broad range of intaglio and relief printmaking techniques each Tuesday; etching, linoleum, woodcut, drypoint, collagraph, photopolymer and photoetching.
Supported by one to one tutoring and an international team of visiting artists, students participate in group exercises to hone their printmaking skills, enabling ample scope for creative expression and specialisation. Attendees develop their ideas through self-led projects to achieve a portfolio of contemporary prints; culminating in the participation of The Art Academy's graduate show and the potential for public exposure in national printmaking exhibitions e.g. Pushing Print, Bainbridge Open and Royal Academy's Summer Exhibition.
