Dental nurses are essential across the dental industry. They contribute significantly to the care of patients undergoing dental treatment and are vital members of the dental team. They act as a chaperone and the second appropriate person in the dental surgery. There are varied job roles once you are qualified to working in a dental practice, dental hospital or community dental services.
SLA has the City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma Dental Nursing that would suit anyone who would like to pursue a career in dental nursing. SLA has three intakes a year and you will be on the course between 18 to 24 months this will depend on how quickly you progress with your qualification. You can study from 9.00 to 4.00 and classes run on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
