You will study core design units and then select from a series of optional units depending on your specialism to provide an individual learning experience that allows you to explore your talent and individuality. You will explore and develop your creative, critical and reflective skills and identify career opportunities; develop enterprise skills and professional practice to provide the essential requirements for progression, employment or self-employment within the Creative Industry. This course will involve practical workshops and theory sessions, critiques, lectures, exhibitions and visits alongside specialist workshops which will be delivered by visiting contemporary practitioners.
Assessments will takes place on work produced; students will work on a series of directed and self-directed projects and receive continual formative feedback through one to one tutorials, group and peer critiques and formal assessment on a regular basis. Summative assessment takes place each term or upon completion of specific units or projects.
