About Lincoln College

We are the largest educational institution in the County, with around 9,000 students of whom over 3,000 are full-time.

Campus information

Lincoln College
Our campus on Monks Road is both the administrative centre and largest site of the college. The campus has recently undergone considerable development, we now occupy a contained space encompassing the corner of Monks Road and Lindum Hill.

Gainsborough College
Housed on a modern, purpose-built campus close to the town centre, the Gainsborough College has a friendly welcoming atmosphere, dedicated staff and excellent facilities. We are well-known for our good results. Our supportive team of tutors are here to help you build confidence and gain personal satisfaction from your programme of study

Newark College
At Newark College we aim to provide our community with the high standard of learning environment which our customers – students, parents and employers – will need for the future.

Lincoln’s nearest regional airports are Humberside Airport at Kirmington, 34 miles north-east of Lincoln, and Robin Hood Airport in Doncaster also 34 miles away to the north-west, with Nottingham East Midlands Airport 50 miles south of Lincoln.

Accommodation

After choosing your course, one of your biggest decisions will be where you will live.  Although we do not have our own accommodation at the College, there is a plentiful supply located in the city, within walking distance of the College and both rail and bus stations.  Whether you want to live in Halls of Residence or private accommodation, you can enjoy your independence in safe, secure and sociable surroundings.

There are pleasant privately-owned houses in Lincoln, available near the city centre and within walking distance of the College. The cost of housing in Lincoln is considerably cheaper than in many other big cities with rents from as little as £55 per week.
