About this course
The course is designed to encourage those students who wish to enter the world of Electronics or a continued progression path to university. Candidates could also seek employment which may lead to a training provider. Students could progress onto a university program or seek employment as a trainee technician/ apprentice within the electronics industry and earn £15,000- £17,000. Further progression can continue onto a qualified technician rate. Students will be learning within a fully established electronics lab which is fully equipped to deal with all aspects of electronic repairs and diagnostics.
Application requirements include:
- 4 - 5 GCSEs grade A* - C, including English and a subject relevant to a chosen area of study.
- Students with full Level 2 vocational qualifications with an overall Merit/Distinction will be considered alongside 2 GCSEs grade A* - C including GCSE English and a good reference.
- Some subjects will need GCSE maths
