About Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UniRazak), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Summary, Fees, Scholarship, Campus Life, etc.)
Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK) was established on 18 December 1997 as one of the first private universities in Malaysia. Since its inception, UNIRAZAK was among the first few private universities in Malaysia to receive the SIRIM certification of ISO 9001:2000. Additionally, the University has been awarded the prestigious Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status, which is a testament to the University's commitment to integrating technology and innovation in its teaching and learning techniques.
UNIRAZAK has rapidly established itself as a premier centre for education in its efforts to produce competitive and capable graduates. The University focuses on delivering quality academic programmes in niche, specialised areas – developed especially with emerging markets in mind. UNIRAZAK collaborates with leading global institutions to produce the future experts and authorities who will lead these areas, help build nations, and ensure continued economic success for Malaysia and other emerging markets.
UNIRAZAK’s combination of innovative, pioneering degree programmes in niche areas, low student-to-teacher ratio, high percentage of PhD holders among its teaching staff, and world-class facilities ensures that UNIRAZAK provides an educational experience and outstanding future prospects unlike any other university. Currently consisting of three flagship schools that are the Bank Rakyat School of Business and Entrepreneurship (BRSBE), the Tun Abdul Razak School of Government (TARSOG), and the Graduate School of Business (GSB), UNIRAZAK is at the forefront of educational innovation.
As of 3 November 2012, UNIRAZAK has graduated more than 17,000 alumni, and prides itself in developing relevant programmes to meet today's needs. All academic programmes on offer, which were developed through close consultation with business and industry partners, the public sector and professionals, are approved by the Malaysian Higher Education Ministry (MOHE) and are developed to meet the high standards required by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).
Presently under the auspices of the Tun Abdul Razak Educational Foundation (Yayasan PINTAR), UNIRAZAK is embarking on the next crucial phase of its growth. Its vision is to become the leading institution in providing quality education and human capital in niche areas among emerging economies. UNIRAZAK also intends to enhance its cooperation and collaborative networks through strategic alliances with top-ranking international universities, renowned in their respective fields.
UNIRAZAK hopes to further boost its presence in the global education market, and at the same time, offer its students a higher quality of educational experience. By continuously striving for excellence, the University is well on its way in becoming an important educational institution in this country and the region. By delivering a world-class learning experience, UNIRAZAK aspires to be an institution that produces great thinkers who will become the accomplished leaders of tomorrow.
