About this course
This program offers students a variety of courses in literary and cultural studies as well as a wide range of America-related topics in subjects such as history, political sciences, media studies, sociology, etc. This program also reflects the heterogeneity of experiences in a multiethnic America and engages with American culture, literature and politics in all their diversity and complexity. The program stands out by offering an interdisciplinary approach to American Studies, an elective curriculum to develop an individual study profile and the choice of spending an additional year abroad.
The following are parts of the application process necessary for admission consideration:
- Common Application
- Educational History Form (EHF)
- Certificate of secondary school completion such as the German Abitur (i.e. International Baccalaureate, High School Diploma (with recommended tests depending on your region), GCSE A-levels, etc.)
- SAT or ACT
- English Language Proficiency Test
