Hong Kong Higher Education System Overview

Hong Kong students take a public examination - Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education  (HKDSE) after three years of senior secondary. They enter higher education at the age of 18 to study either a vocational or an undergraduate degree based on the results of the HKDSE. Since 2012, all Hong Kong universities provide a four-year undergraduate program.
