About Wiltshire College

Wiltshire College was formed in 2000 following the merger with Salisbury College in January 2008, is now the main provider of further and higher education in Wiltshire.

Wiltshire College Chippenham was founded as North Wilts College of Further Education and later changed its name to Chippenham Technical College, and again to Chippenham College in 1993.

The college enrolls more than 3300 full-time students, 6000 part-time students and 800 University Level students. Wiltshire College is an exciting place to study. There are 4 main campuses and 4 smaller centres throughout the county.

The college conducts courses from the pre-entry to the degree level, offering Higher Education, responsive Further Education and effective Business, Professional and Skills-based education. Courses are offered in the fields of administration, art and design, agriculture, beauty therapy, biology, business, catering, chemistry, childcare, computing, construction, English, engineering and motor vehicle, and so on.

Campus information

Wiltshire College has four campuses: Chippenham campus, Lackham campus, Salisbury campus, and Throwbridge campus

All students are able to access to a well-equipped Fitness Centre at each campus. Several restaurants and cafes, and Arc Theatre can be founded around the campus area.

Accommodation services are also provided for the students includes on-campus and off-campus accommodation. Each of the on-campus rooms are furnished with bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and wireless internet access and a bathroom containing a shower, toilet and wash-basin.

The four campuses of Witshire college- Chippenham campus, Lackham campus, Salisbury campus, and Throwbridge campus are all situated in Wiltshire, England.

Accommodation

Lackham
The College has 145 rooms in Halls of Residence on campus and these are usually allocated to students studying at Lackham who live outside the local area. 

Salisbury
The recently restored St Mary’s building provides high quality, secure and comfortable halls of residence which comprise 80 en-suite study bedrooms.  Situated on campus but within its own grounds it is only two minutes from the main campus and five minutes from the city. 

Chippenham
Chippenham has no onsite accommodation however Student Services can provide lists of local accommodation to those over 18 and will give information and advice on what to look for when renting off campus property. 

Trowbridge
Trowbridge also has no onsite accommodation however we can again provide lists of local accommodation to those over 18 and will give information and advice on what to look for when renting off campus property.
