Accommodation

New full-time undergraduate students who select Kent as their first choice university and who apply before 31 July in the year of entry will be offered University accommodation. Canterbury has on-campus accommodation for over 5,000 students. There are also many private accommodations and households available for students around the area. Medway offers student flats in Chatham, university-leased houses and a range of private accommodation

 

Campus

Kent has UK campuses in Canterbury and Medway, less than an hour from London and close to Europe, and specialist postgraduate centres in Brussels, Paris, Athens and Rome.
Each offers a safe, vibrant and attractive environment for your studies. 

 

The 300-acre Canterbury campus is the main site of the University of Kent. The foyer in the Gulbenkian arts complex acts as the meeting and event venue, featuring a small stage and a 340-seat theatre. The complex also houses s a cafe/ bar and restaurant. There are eight dining areas in the campus. The Sport Centre has a gymnasium, a dance studio, courts, and a multi-purpose sports hall. The on-site residence included rooms, flats and houses. 

The Medway campus in less than 45 minutes from London. The campus houses modern and excellent facilities, including library, pub and restaurants, a local shop, newsrooms, studios and music rehearsal rooms, and a private sports treatment clinic. There is also on-site accommodation provided. The Tonbridge campus offers part-time and short courses in several subjects, including English and Comparative Literature, Local History and Creative Writing. The library in the campus features a huge collection of books and journals.

The main campus is based in Canterbury, it takes less than 20 minutes’ walk (2 miles) to the city centre, tons of cultural and entertainment attractions are easily reached by public transport. The Channel Ports and the Eurostar terminals make a quick and easy access to Paris and Brussels.
