About this course


Foundation in Information Technology and Engineering programme is designed to bridge the transition from high school studies to a range of university undergraduate degree programmes in computing, technology and engineering related fields. This programme aims to meet the escalating demand for highly trained and skilled resources in the areas of Information Technology and Engineering. Graduates of this programme will be provided with strong grounding on Information Technology and Engineering accompanied by adaptable and practical training preparing them for the challenges of an undergraduate study. 

Career Prospect
Students will be eligible for the degree programme allowing them to develop solutions requiring the application of technology in a business and organisational context so as to facilitate a response to continued future changes in technology and industry practices. Among the relevant programmes are Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, Business Computing, Graphic Design, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or any other relevant degree programmes. 

Alternatively, the International Students Exchange Programme (ISEP) meant for students who opt to progress into higher level education at foreign universities such as UK, USA and Australia.

Entry Requirements

  • Pass SPM with 5 credits including Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics, Science and any subjects ie Physics, Additional Mathematics and Economy, and pass English Language.
