Melbourne Polytechnic has been delivering vocational training since 1912 and today offers a diverse range of innovative, hands-on TAFE (VET) and Higher Education (Degree) programs to equip students with knowledge and skills to excel in an evolving and challenging marketplace. Melbourne Polytechnic is a government-funded institution and one of the largest vocational education providers in Victoria Australia.

Melbourne Polytechnic offers over 100 courses ranging from Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees to international students. These courses are designed to help them achieve academic and career goals easily. Courses available to international students are nationally accredited under the Australian Quality Framework (AQF) in accordance with the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) legislative framework. Melbourne Polytechnic is registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students  (CRICOS). All courses are recognised internationally.

Currently, there are students from over 70 different countries all over the world. Melbourne Polytechnic's modern training facilities are recognised for being some of the best in Victoria and its long-standing relationships within related industries means students gain industry-relevant skills to be job-ready. Campus information

Melbourne Polytechnic is the biggest vocational training provider in Melbourne’s inner northern suburbs and urban fringe. It has 6 campuses located at Preston, Collingwood, Epping, Fairfield, Heidelberg and Prahran and training facilities at Eden Park, Yan Yean, Yarra Glen, and Kyneton. Study programs are delivered by seven faculties across seven campuses and six specialist training centres throughout the northern region of Melbourne and country Victoria which include:

  • Arts and Social Sciences,
  • Engineering and Business.

Melbourne Polytechnic boasts some of the best training facilities in Australia – many are designed to simulate real workplaces and, in many cases, provide services direct to the public or industry. Kyneton Park where delivers a range of skills in agriculture and equine industry and Northern Lodge Eden park is 300 hectare breeding facility. Yan Yean Farm is where agriculture students learn to work and manage a fully operational broadacre farming operation including cattle and sheep farming and pasture production. The list of facilities are as follows:
