The Flinders International Study Centre (Flinders ISC) offers courses that provide the academic and English language foundation students will need to thrive in university. Upon successful completion of their program at Flinders ISC, students are guaranteed entry into a range of degrees at Flinders University.

Campus information

The Bedford Park campus is located in the foothills of Adelaide and is easily accessible by public transport. It is only 15 minutes from the closest beach, and less than 10 minutes to the largest shopping complex in Adelaide by car.

The campus provides high-quality learning facilities and academic support services, including: 

  • State-of-the art libraries and IT labs
  • Cafés, bars and restaurants
  • A modern fitness centre with gym equipment, yoga, pilates, squash courts, CrossFit training, etc.

Accommodation

‭Deirdre Jordan Village

The Village is located at the heart of the Flinders University's main campus, just a five minute walk away from Flinders ISC. Each townhouse are complete with a common living/dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and toilet facilities, bedrooms, secure and lockable individual storage space as well as access to laundry facilities.

All students have their own bedroom that is equipped with:

  • ‭A single bed 
  • ‭A generously sized desk 
  • ‭A study chair 
  • ‭A wardrobe 
  • ‭Telephone and internet connection. 

Staying at Deirdre Jordan Village gives students easy access to student services and facilities. Instead of self-cooked meals, students also have the option of subscribing to a catered meal plan (Monday to Friday) which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Should students encounter any issues during their stay, there are Residential Coordinators available onsite to offer advice and support. 

Homestay

Students can also choose to live with a local family, where they will ‭receive three meals a day and have their own bedroom. Homestay accommodation is compulsory ‭for students under the age of 18.

Off-campus accommodation

For those who want to experience ‭living off-campus, there are a number of cost-effective accommodation options available. These range from private rental apartments through to shared accommodation.
