Leura Campus
Leura Campus is 1.5 hours from Sydney and is situated on 2 hectares of landscaped private gardens. This campus has first-class teaching facilities that comprise of lecture and seminar rooms, commercial kitchens, a demonstration cocktail bar, 3 training restaurants for tutors and students to use, a fully equipped demonstration training lab and computer rooms. Three of the training restaurants available are specially designed to assist in building meaningful experiences to students in terms of the different food and beverage environments in hotels.
As for the lecture rooms, they have video recording facilities so that students are given the opportunity to watch their lectures for future revision. Besides that, students are also given access on updates such as academic information, campus events, subject material storage centres, and webmail with their own school email address.
Libraries at Leura Campus are professionally staffed and students have access to over 8,000 books and 1,435 ebooks through the library catalogue. BMIHMS also subscribes to two extensive online encyclopedias, 23 databases and a vast collection of case studies. Students are also reassured in receiving any guidance or advice from the institution’s library staff who all possess professional academic qualifications.
Sydney Campus
BMIHMS Sydney Campus is located at the central business district of the city and provides students with easy access to connecting transport routes in getting to class. Undergraduate students also share this unique campus with third-year undergraduate students and all postgraduate students. Students who are fortunate to study in this campus and residing in the city will be given a better insight on being more independent and determine what they want to achieve to their potential new career.
Students at the Sydney Campus will have access to lounge areas for social activities and studying together with their friends. Kitchen facilities also allow prospective students to relax and create tea and coffee, as well as store their favourite lunches and heat food. In between that time, a Student Representative Council will ensure that students can participate in as many enjoyable activities as possible.
Similar to its other campuses, the Sydney Campus has modern teaching facilities that works perfectly to the professional learning environment that is adopted there. Lecturers are all recorded and students can view them at any time for future references or revision. This campus is equipped with its own library and academic staff can be easily accessed by students.
Melbourne Campus
Melbourne Campus can be found at the very heart of Melboune’s business centre hub. Some of BMIHMS master students of International Hotel Management also attend here for lectures and tutorials. Prospective students will be sharing this campus with several Torrens University students who are committed to studying business, design and health courses. Melbourne Campus is strategically built in an area with many iconic hospitality and tourism venues just around the corner that can expose students to learning more about the industry.
Students studying at Melbourne Campus will not be left behind in visiting nearby cafes, restaurants, entertainment venues, gyms, and recreation centres nearby. It is also connected to public transport such as Flinders Street Train Station located a mere 3 minutes’ walk away.
Similar to other BMIHMS campuses, it is well equipped with modern facilities for students to immerse themselves in such as intimate lecture rooms, break out-zones, computer lab, and well stocked library of resources and books. There is little hassle to have access to the Internet and teaching resources, and thus allowing students to utilize them for revision.
