Taylor's University Receives 5-Stars in Five Categories in 2016 QS Stars Rating Exercise
Taylor’s University received yet another international recognition by being rated 5 Stars in 5 categories, namely Teaching, Employability, Internationalisation, Facilities and Inclusiveness in the recently released QS Stars Rating by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). This has proven, once again, the quality of education delivered at Taylor’s University is one that is of world-class.
This news comes after Taylor’s was ranked number 179 in the QS Asian University Ranking 2016 exercise just a few months ago and is a good indication that the teaching and learning approach adopted at Taylor’s University is well-received by students, renowned university partners from all over the world and top employers.
This latest achievement serves to further solidify its standing within our partner universities and is one that puts Taylor’s, a young and progressive university, on par with established universities such as Universiti Malaya, Boston University, Cornell University, University of Technology Sydney and University of Cambridge.
QS Stars is a rating system which allows students to get a wider picture of an institution’s qualities, looking at everything from the employability of graduates, to facilities and teaching quality. It is designed to reflect the nuanced mission of universities, and the needs of students who may be interested in things other than those to which traditional rankings are necessarily limited.
The QS Stars audit evaluates an institution against over 50 different indicators, and awards universities between one and five stars over eight wider fields, as well as an overall rating.
Taylor’s University received an overall rating of 4 Stars.
