The first place you’d probably want to start at would be to determine your weekly or monthly budget. That should let you narrow down your search criteria - whether it’s on or off campus, location, neighborhood community makeup, etc. For example, if you have the budget for an apartment off campus, you should factor in costs to also get furniture and possibly rent other rooms out to save some money. Remember, there’s also cooking and cleaning that needs to be done. If you prefer, you can always stay with host families to get a real sense of Aussie culture and life, which may make things easier for you. There are really many options to choose from - just set up your priorities and choose the best place to stay for you!
