Curriculum
The Fitness Instructing Level 2 Certificate CYQ (19+) course will include a range of units to prepare you for your journey with Greenwich Community College or employment, some of the units will include:
- Planning and Instructing Gym Based Exercise
- Anatomy and Physiology for exercise
- Principles of Exercise, Fitness and Health
- Know how to support clients who take part in exercise and physical activity
- Health, safety and welfare in a fitness environment
Throughout the course you will be assessed using a range of methods:
- Practical assessments
- 2 x Multiple choice exams
- Creation of a portfolio
