This Campus is easily accessible, only a short walk from the MTR and East Rail stations at Kowloon Tong.
The Run Run Shaw Library City University
The Run Run Shaw Library, located at the City University campus, has around 2,400 seats. It supports the learning, study and research needs of the University and CCCU AD students and staff. Students may borrow from a collection of more than 1,067,400 volumes of printed books, over 2.5 million titles of e-books and around 216,100 volumes of bound periodicals. Students are also able to access an expanding number of electronic databases, e-journals and media resources.
Computing Services
The Computing Services Centre at the City University campus maintains host machines, teaching studio area, printing services, electronic mail, literacy programmes, express terminals, and a service counter. AD students have ready access to a wide range of electronic resources and to the technology which allows them to communicate with teachers and scholars both locally and internationally.
All computers in the Centre are automatically connected to the sophisticated CTNET. These can be used as workstations or as terminals for accessing software and services available at the Centre’s central computers.
Sports Facilities
AT CCCU, sports constitute an integral part of college life. The sports complex at the City University campus houses facilities for physical fitness training, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, basketball, squash and rock climbing. There are also outdoor tennis courts and an Olympic-sized swimming pool. Physical education courses and team sports, taught by qualified coaches, are organized throughout the year to help AD students develop both physically and socially.
Kowloon Bay Telford Annex Campus
CCCU’s second campus also offers convenient access to students and is just a short distancefrom the Kowloon Bay MTR station. This campus has up-to-date facilities for teaching and learning, as well as specially designed recreational space for an interactive campus life. AD students enrolled in programmes offered at the Telford Annex can also use the library, computing and sports facilities at the City University campus in Kowloon Tong. Students enrolled in the Diploma in General Studies programme at the Telford Annex are entitled to use the Telford Library and the facilities at the Telford Recreation Club.
Continuous renovation has improved the Telford Annex’s ambience as an education complex conducive to students’ active participation and learning, while maximizing space utilization. Better classroom facilities to enhance staff-student interaction, introduction of more greenery on the premises and periodic upgrading of furniture and air-conditioning units ensure a more comfortable environment to students.
Telford Annex Library Outlet
The Telford campus has a well-equipped on-site Library, offering students easy access to textbooks, periodicals and library materials that support the programmes offered at the Telford Annex. Online facilities are available for connection to the electronic resources at the Run Run Shaw Library.
