About this course

This course is offered to engineering technologists wishing to upgrade their qualifications within specific areas of engineering:

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

The course combines coursework and project work to provide interest and challenge to students. In addition to the technical knowledge expected in a postgraduate course, there is an emphasis on the themes of sustainability, creativity, teamwork, design and leadership throughout the program.

The course includes a 12-week work experience component, which ensures graduates are job-ready and familiar with engineering employment opportunities. All applicants must indicate their area of specialisation by selecting a stream from the list provided. 

Entry Requirements

  • Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering Science, Bachelor of Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or an approved equivalent discipline
  • IELTS A minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0.
