Our facilities are within Birkbeck College, University of London, in the Bloomsbury district of central London. Bloomsbury is the academic heart of London, long associated with education. Not only is Bloomsbury home to the British Museum and many of the Schools and Colleges of the University of London, but the first female higher education establishment in Britain, Bedford College, was founded in Bedford Square where Amity London is based. Amity House itself is a beautiful Georgian building at number 24 on this historic Square and serves as the point of contact for students and Amity, housing all administrative and student-support services
Our Bloomsbury site is conveniently located in the city centre and connections with nearby Birkbeck College and the Senate House Library mean that our students study and learn in state-of-the-art University of London facilities.
Students are free to find their own accommodation in the city and house and flat-shares are easy to find online. Rents in London are high, but with some searching it is possible to find good rooms for about £600 per month (excluding bills) in zones 2-3.
However, in order to check the condition and suitability of potential accommodation it is important to see it in person before agreeing to move in and, if you are unable to do so, to remove the risk we recommend taking a room at a hall of residence that has been approved by Amity
