Accommodation

University Hall

University Hall is a catered, collegiate hall of residence and is a good option for first year students. It offers rooms fully furnished with a single bed, study desk and chair, wardrobe and shelving, heater and fan, mirror, lockable storage, and is inclusive of wi-fi internet connection. Facilities and services include catering, recreation and social activities, academic and wellbeing support, transport and parking as well as common areas such as a communal dining room, a television and common room, a furnished 'Abbey' lounge and the versatile ballroom, laundry, a communal computer laboratory, a small library, a music room, an art room and a tennis/basketball court.

Deirdre Jordan Village

This option provides a self-catered collegiate accommodation with units available in a range of configurations and can accommodate between 2-6 residents. 

  • Units 1 - 82
    • Each unit contains a common living/dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and toilet facilities, secure storage space for each resident, a desk, study chair and a single bed in bedrooms as well as a telephone and data connection. All units have air-conditioning in the common areas.
    • Each 2- and 3-bedroom units have a washing machine, while residents of the five bedroom units use the central on-site laundries.
    • 5-bedroom units are equipped with universal access facilities.
       
  • Units 83 - 90 (Annexe Units)
    • The 3- and 6-bedroom Annexe Units are self-contained and self-catered and contain a common living/dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and toilet facilities. 
    • Residents of the Annexe units use the central on-site laundries. Air-conditioning is not provided.

Additional facilities and services include a Community Centre (with a large common room, seminar rooms and a music room), centralised laundries and outdoor recreation and barbeque areas as well as personal support from residential coordinators.

Other options

In addition to offering long-term tenancy for University students, Flinders Living also provides private accommodation and temporary accommodation services as well as on-campus short-term accommodation (December to February).

Campus

Bedford Park 

Located 12km south of the centre of Adelaide, the Bedford Park campus is Flinders' main campus. The Student Hub on campus offers 24/7 study spaces and access to all student services in one convenient location. There is also a wide range of facilities and services available. Some of these include banking facilities; sport and fitness; child and parenting facilities; student accommodation; library; health, welfare and disability services; and spirirtual services.

Tonsley

Flinders at Tonsley houses the Medical Device Research Institute and Centre for NanoScale Science and Technology, alongside some of Adelaide's biggest businesses and industries. Research and academic activites at this campus focuses mainly in the fields of computer science, engineering and mathematics. Various facilities and services are available to visitors, students and staff, including first aid, prayer rooms, student lounge, security, disability services, counselling and library services.

Victoria Square

Located in the heart of Adelaide CBD, Flinders at Victoria Square is an accessible, alternative and flexible space for students, staff and the general public. Offering prime facilities for hosting events, Victoria Square is also a hub for engaging with major business, community and political stakeholders.

Northern Territory

Flinders University in the Northern Territory provides a hub for innovative health research, education and workforce development in the NT. Aside from delivering the Flinders NT Medical Program, this campus co-manages the Centre for Remote Health and manages several initiatives, including the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health and Wellbeing in Alice Springs.

Other locations

In addition to its main campuses, Flinders University have geographical footprint extending to other metropolitan campuses, including at Brooklyn Park, Daw Park and Noarlunga. Flinders also has regional locations, such as Barossa, Port Lincoln, Mt Gambier, Renmark, and Victor Harbor, as well as interstate locations, such as Hamilton and Warrnambool (Victoria), and Alice Springs, Casuarina, Darwin, Katherine and Nhulunbuy (Northern Territory).
