Singapore – January 2015 underlined the success of Raffles Open House which attracted over 300 visitors who were engaged in a myriad of exciting activities held at Raffles Singapore.

Visitors were in for wonderful treats offered by Raffles Alumni whose labels such as Pleatation, Elska, AMOS ANANDA, Hemant Sahi Designs and To-a-tee amped up the day with cool pop-up stores and exclusive discounts. Complimentary hair-styling stations by Toni & Guy and make-over booth by Majolica Majorca also joined in the fun to doll up the visitors. Wacom, a Japanese company that specialises in graphics tablets, displayed their latest gadgets and conducted live demonstrations of extraordinary drawings.

 

Next, Raffles Creative Practitioner Queenie Chan and talented students captivated the visitors with their amazing Korean pop dance performance. This was followed by an inspiring sharing of success stories by Raffles Designers, Chiang Xiaojun, Amos Yeo and Hemant Sahi on their entrepreneurial journey. An overview of the course disciplines and Raffles advantages were also highlighted by Raffles Programme Directors.

What truly intrigued the visitors were the meticulously designed workshops by Raffles Creative Practitioners which was conducted in out-of-the box approach to accentuate the unique features of Raffles course. Visitors explored their creativity and uncovered their brilliance.

 

The workshops were also enhanced by our honourable sponsors such as Wacom for providing various models of their newest tablets for the Animation and Games Design workshop, Pleatation for providing their pleated fabrics and papers for Fashion Design and Jewellery Design workshops, and lastly, Stabilo for providing their latest products for Graphic Design workshops. Separately, Wacom and Shiseido also sponsored attractive prizes for three lucky winners.

Similarly at Raffles Jakarta, parents and students learnt more about its vibrant campus and its industry-relevant curriculum. They also participated in the creativity workshops that featured discplines like Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, Interior Design, Visual Communication Design, Digital Media Design and Business Management disciplines.
