Entry Requirements

160 UCAS points from 2 A2 subjects at least one from sciences (e.g. Biology) BTEC Diploma (MM) or Extended Diploma (MPP), or NPTC (City & Guilds) single grade Extended Diploma (M) Animal Management with Animal Nursing optional unit. In addition 5 GCSE at A*-C to include English, Mathematics and Science. 4 weeks work experience at a veterinary practice prior to starting the course Mature students will be considered, but must demonstrate: • Achievement of literacy and numeracy as above and also after successful completion of an Access to Higher Education programme with a Science base, or • Learning through experience, demonstrated in portfolios or records of achievement, and/or by set learning tasks set at interview, and confirmed by employer reference(s). or • A combination of academic and experiential learning, to be considered on its individual merits. Overseas Students Applicants whose first language is not English must offer evidence of qualifications in written and spoken English. Acceptable qualifications are IELTS 7.0, or direct equivalents.
