About

Early childhood educators have been recognized as critical professionals in Malaysia, as evidenced by their inclusion in the Malaysia’s Critical Occupations List 2018/2019. Since 2020, holding a diploma in early childhood has become the minimum requirement for individuals seeking employment in tadikas or kindergartens across the country. This underscores the demand for qualified early childhood professionals who play a crucial role in nurturing young lives during their formative years.

SEGi’s Diploma in Early Childhood is meticulously designed by a team of experts who have previously delivered the esteemed Montessori Diploma on behalf of the Montessori Centre International UK, along with Australian and British degrees in early childhood education. The curriculum undergoes regular review to ensure it remains aligned with industry requirements.

Our faculty members also receive international training, extending their expertise to countries such as Iran, Korea, Myanmar, Vietnam, and China. As a student, you will embark on a learning journey that extends beyond the classroom, immersing yourself in early childhood settings from the outset. Through assignments and practical experiences, you will demonstrate your evolving competencies in providing effective early childhood education.

Upon graduation, you will find opportunities in Malaysia, Singapore, and China, reflecting the high demand for our graduates. Moreover, our diploma program offers a pathway for entry into the second year of a degree program in early childhood education.
