About this course

The Master of Applied Economics (International) program allows students to focus on areas of international finance and international trade within the framework of the Master of Applied Economics. The program blends practical experience with rigorous academic analysis to broaden the knowledge of practitioners in the field of International Economics. The Master of Applied Economics (International) requires compulsory courses in intermediate and higher level international finance or international trade, and in econometrics.

Entry Requirements

  • Bachelor of Economics or equivalent where the related equivalent program includes Intermediate Microeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics and Intermediate Econometrics or equivalent, and with at least a credit average (or equivalent) for these three subjects; OR a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Economics or equivalent where the equivalent program includes Intermediate Microeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics and Intermediate Econometrics or equivalent and with at least a credit average (or equivalent) for these three subjects.
