About this course
The Zane State College Criminal Justice – Correctional Science major emphasizes areas of criminal justice designed for students who intend to pursue careers in the corrections profession, which includes adult and juvenile corrections, the court system, counseling and probation and parole. Some of the career paths include, but are not limited to adult and juvenile corrections, correctional case managers, probation/parole officers, victim advocacy and drug treatment professionals.
The degree program is suitable for those professionals who wish to enter the criminal justice field, those who are already employed in the field and wish to advance, as well as those who seek to continue their education at the baccalaureate level. Specific admission requirements are available from the Criminal Justice program director.
