About this course

This Master of Arts program at WSU equips students with the skills required to meet the growing needs of America’s aging population. Graduates will be well-equipped for a wide range of career opportunities from aging research and counseling to employment in nursing facilities, assisted-living communities and mental health facilities.

Entry Requirements

  • Be admitted to the WSU Graduate School.
  • Have a 2.75 GPA in their last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework.
  • Submit three references.
  • Take an advisor-approved, graduate-level statistics course if a statistics course was not taken at the undergraduate level.
  • International students must have a TOEFL score of 575 paper-based or 88 Internet-based OR an overall minimum band score of 7.0 on the IELTS examination.
