About West Chester University of Pennsylvania (WCUPA)
The West Chester University of Pennsylvania (WCUPA) is a public university which is situated in the beautiful, historically significant Brandywine Valley. The university was founded in 1871 as a teacher college. It also is one of the 14 state universities of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
The university offers more than 80 undergraduate, 70 master's degree and graduate certificate programs in teacher education, business, health, natural and social sciences, music and the arts programmes.
WCUPA provides various clubs and activities including 24 men’s and women’s athletic teams and 234 student clubs and organizations for students to enjoy their campus life. WCUPA was ranked among Kiplinger's 100 best values in public colleges for its academic quality and affordability.
