About this course
The Langdale College of Business Masters of Accountancy (MAcc) program is a full-time, one-year program. Admission is competitive and based on space availability. Students may enter the program in fall, spring or summer. Our MAcc program prepares graduates for careers in:
- Public Accounting
- Financial Services
- Government and non-profit
- Corporate Finance
Students study accounting in greater depth than typically provided in an undergraduate accounting program or MBA program an accounting concentration. The program objectives include developing sound technical accounting, analytical, communication, and technology skills that are required to succeed in the accounting profession.
MAcc program graduates fulfill Georgia's educational requirements to sit for the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination.
- Applicants whose first language is not English (based on country of citizenship) must submit official scores on the TOEFL exam.
* International applicants whose first language is not English but who have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. institution may be exempt from the TOEFL requirement.
