About University of Oregon
The University of Oregon is located in Eugene, a city of 155,000 at the southern end of Oregon's Willamette Valley. Eugene is served by a major airport, Amtrak rail service, and major bus lines. The University of Oregon is easily accessible from Interstate 5, the main north-south freeway along the Pacific Coast.
Located on the west edge of campus near Eugene's downtown neighborhood, Barnhart has some of the best views at UO—on a clear day you can even see Mt. Bachelor from the top floor! Barnhart is co-ed by room and features in-suite private bathrooms and walk-in closets. Barnhart is favored by returning residents and transfer students.

Located on the east edge of campus near Matthew Knight Arena, Bean offers the closest commute to concerts and sporting events. Co-ed by floor, Bean features a close-knit community and many single room options. Additionally, Bean is one of our most affordable locations.

You can't get any closer to the heart of campus than Carson Hall. With five stories and a central location, Carson residents enjoy great views, large windows, and a short walk to anywhere on campus. With Carson Dining on the main level, students can often be found hanging out at Carson Late Night enjoying the famous whammies and hearth-oven pizzas. Carson is co-ed by wing, has great study nooks, and large community lounge space for events.

Located in the center of campus near the Student Recreation Center and Hayward Field, Earl residents enjoy a prime location to stay fit and play outdoor sports. Earl also neighbors the newly remodeled Straub Hall with exciting new classroom technology, study spaces, and community areas. Earl is co-ed by room and offers several outdoor areas.

Global Scholars Hall
Located on the east edge of campus, the Global Scholars Hall is co-ed by room and home to many of our Academic Residential Programs. Global Scholars Hall is also one of two communities that house a Library Commons and a full-time librarian to assist with research papers and academics in general. The main level of this building features classroom spaces, a demonstration kitchen, music practice rooms, and a recreation room.

Located on the east side of campus near the Jaqua Center, Health Center, and Matthew Knight Area, residents in Hamilton have great indoor and outdoor community spaces, including the Hamiton dining commons and music practice rooms. Hamilton rooms are co-ed by floor, and the community lounges and outdoor Humpy Lumpy Lawn are favorite hangout spots for students who live in Hamilton and neighboring communities.

Located in the center of campus near the Student Recreation Center and Hayward Field, Living-Learning Center (LLC) rooms are co-ed by room, and residents enjoy a prime location with integrated classroom spaces, smart board study rooms, and a performance hall. The lounges and outdoor lawn are favorite hangout spots for students who live in the LLC and neighboring communities.
