- Essays -- require one long and one short essay
- Students currently attending a school where English is not the language of instruction or students for whom English is not their first language are required to submit scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A score of 100+ on the internet-based TOEFL (or 600+ on the paper-based test) or a band score of 7.0 or higher on the IELTS is considered competitive.
