Entry Requirements

  • Counselor statement and transcript
  • Teacher recommendation
  • Essays (require one long and one short essay)
  • Students currently attending a school where English is not the language of instruction or students for whom English is not their first language are required to submit scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A score of 100+ on the internet-based TOEFL (or 600+ on the paper-based test) or a band score of 7.0 or higher on the IELTS is considered competitive.
  • Test scores - SAT Reasoning Test and/or the ACT (including the writing section, which is offered with both exams)
