To change the world, you not only need great students, you also need great resources. From multimillion-dollar research labs to the 125,470-square-foot RecPlex, when you're a Flyer, you have access to top-flight facilities.
Your first walk on campus can be as exhilarating as the walk across the commencement stage. That’s the moment you realize you’re a part of something bigger than yourself. Whether it’s the buzz in the air from having more than 200 student groups and organizations, the sounds of conversations in a variety of languages or the feeling that we’re all in this together, your excitement will be unforgettable.
Situated on the banks of the Great Miami River in southwest Ohio, less than two miles from downtown Dayton, there’s always something fun to do on and around campus. Indoors or outdoors, rain or shine, we’re a community of doers.
More than 85 percent of our students live on campus and in the student neighborhood — a one-of-a-kind community of students living side by side in porch-clad houses.
All first-year undergraduate students belong to a learning-living community, which offers a chance to engage in shared classes and activities with your hallmates. Later, you'll move to an apartment, suite or house in the student neighborhood. We also offer special housing for law, graduate and international students.
And with its vast dining options and top-notch facilities, the University has received eight national awards for excellence in college dining since 2010.
