About University of Colorado Denver

The University of Colorado Denver is a public research university combined with liberals arts and sciences. Founded in 1912.  The official name of the university is University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus. 

The university has two campuses: one in downtown Denver at the Auraria Campus, and the other at the Anschutz Medical Campus located in neighboring Aurora. The most-enrolled undergraduate degree programs are biology, business, music and psychology. For most enrolled graduate degree programs are Masters' of Business Administration, Curriculum and Instruction (Education) and Public Administration.  

The university was ranked in U.S. New & World Report as one the Best Graduate Schools in 2013.

   

Campus information

The campuses are within walking distance of parks, museums, theaters and performing arts centers, and an eclectic assortment of restaurants, coffeehouses, and shops. At the same time, they are less than an hour away from some of the best skiing, snowboarding, camping, hiking, whitewater rafting, and rock-climbing in the world. The University of Colorado Denver offers a number of student services including:
