About University of Arkansas, Little Rock
The University of Arkansas, Little Rock is a four-year, coeducational, public research university located in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was established in 1927. Currently, the university has 10,374 undergraduate students with an additional 2,694 graduate students. In 1938, the university began a peanut butter factory. The University of Arkansas, Little Rock is also home to the only Children International site in the country; seventeen departments participate in the program, which provides 3,000 school-aged children with healthcare supplies as well as educational opportunities and materials. University of Arkansas, Little Rock competes in Division I-AAA athletics and the school mascot is the Trojan.
