About this course

The Master of Science in Nursing Program is designed to provide graduates of baccalaureate programs in nursing the opportunity to develop the advanced knowledge and clinical skills required for leadership positions in nursing. The program prepares Nursing Informatics Specialists and Family Nurse Practitioners. Students are accepted for admission to the MSN tracks every semester. Fall admission is recommended for students who wish to pursue full-time study. Post MSN certificate options are offered in Family Nurse Practitioner and Nursing Informatics Specialist. The MSN program is offered online with faculty based on the Troy, Montgomery, Dothan, and Phenix City campuses in Alabama. There are a limited number of on campus requirements for FNP students.
