Our suite style residence halls provide the best of both worlds – private bedrooms and bathrooms, and spacious communal areas to socialize with your friends and roommates. Suites consist of four or five fully furnished bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining area, and two full bathrooms. 

Other suite amenities include:

  • Refrigerator, stove/oven, and cabinetry in the kitchen
  • Couch, armchair, end table, lamp, television stand, and cable jack in living room
  • Table with chairs in dining area

Campus

Jamestown Campus
Founded in 1950, Jamestown Community College was the first community college certified in the State University of New York system.

The Hamilton Collegiate Center houses the admissions and financial aid offices as well as the Counseling and Career Center, Campus Store, Student Union, Artworks, and cafeteria.

The Hultquist Library combines over 55,000 print materials and audiovisual tools with study areas and instructional resources. A computerized catalog and circulation system complement a professional staff focused on meeting student needs. The building also contains classrooms, a tutorial center, computer labs, theatre, distance learning classroom, and faculty offices.

Additional classrooms are located in the Arts and Sciences Center, along with a computer center, physics labs and classrooms, music department, Weeks Gallery, Weeks Reception Hall, and Scharmann Theatre, which serves as the site for a variety of student and professional cultural events and lectures. It is also home to JCC's top-ranked nursing program and its classrooms and labs. Student computer resources include 450 computers.

A gymnasium, indoor track, Life Fitness center, racquetball courts, and swimming pools make JCC's Physical Education Complex one of the most well-equipped facilities in the region. It's also the home of Jayhawk Athletics.

The Katharine Jackson Carnahan Center features the Center for Continuing Education, which includes computer labs, a theatre, and classrooms designed for short-term training. It also houses the Small Business Development Center, which serves both start-up and established businesses in the area, and the Chautauqua County Law Enforcement Academy.

JCC's LEED certified gold-rated Science Center provides classroom and lab facilities for biology, biotechnology, chemistry, environmental science, and geology courses.

The Roger Tory Peterson Institute, located on Curtis Street, complements JCC’s outstanding science education facilities and programs. The institute’s mission is to honor and continue the work of acclaimed Jamestown-born naturalist Roger Tory Peterson to foster understanding, appreciation, and protection of the natural world.

Cattaraugus County Campus
The Allied Health and Science Center includes a state-of-the-art nursing laboratory; classrooms; biology, chemistry and physics laboratories; faculty offices; and distance learning and smart classrooms.

College Center features a student union, campus store, student lounge, community room, cafeteria, art gallery, information desk, board room/teleconference room, and seminar room. Student services offices — campus life, admissions, financial aid, registration, business, counseling and career center, health center — are also located in the building, as well as administrative offices.

Cutco Theater is a multipurpose facility and includes a 190-seat theater which accommodates theater and music performances as well as lectures and training programs. The adjacent Magnano Reception Room, with complete kitchen facilities, makes the area ideal for college and community events.

The Library and Liberal Arts Center houses the campus library, faculty offices, classrooms, and offices for Empire State College and Houghton College's PACE program.

The Technology Building includes the Learning Center which offers tutoring and individualized learning skills assessment and assistance, computer lab, study areas, reserved materials, textbooks available for student use, and services and adaptive equipment for students with disabilities. In addition, the building includes computer labs, classrooms, and faculty offices.

The Dresser-Rand Training and Conference Center, located in an historic railroad depot, houses the Center for Continuing Education. The facility includes classrooms, conference/seminar rooms, theatre, and a computer lab.

The Manufacturing Technology Institute, set to open for the fall 2016 semester, features classrooms, light duty and computer-aided design labs, and Center for Continuing Education facilities.

The Olean Family YMCA/JCC Physical Education Center, located at 1101 Wayne St., is home to the college's physical education courses, intramural sport activities, and special events, including the campus’ annual commencement ceremony. The facility includes multipurpose Cutco Court, an aerobic studio, aquatic center, climbing wall, jogging/walking track, racquetball court, and wellness center.

JCC North County Center
The facility includes computer labs, counseling services, electronic library, distance learning capability, bookstore, student lounge, and classrooms. A campus life program and a beautiful campus combine to create the true collegiate environment.

JCC Warren Center
The Warren Center, established in 1987, operates under the auspices of the Warren-Forest Higher Education Council. Students enrolled in credit courses at the site are eligible for federal, state, and local financial aid opportunities, including a Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency grant.

In addition to credit courses, the Warren Center also offers non-credit courses in personal enrichment, professional development, skill upgrades, and business and customized training.

The original campus is located on a 107-acre site in Jamestown, in the southwestern corner of New York. The Cattaraugus County Campus, 50 miles east of Jamestown, is located in Olean, NY. Extension centers in Dunkirk, NY and Warren, Pa.
