SUNY, Buffalo is coeducational, four-year, public research university that located in Buffalo, New York, United States. It was founded in 1846; it is a public research university with multiple campuses in Buffalo and also Amherst. Also, it is one of the four university centers of the State University of New York system.

The university also considers the largest public university in the northeastern United States which comprising New York state and the New England region. In every year, the university will organize the world’s largest mud volleyball game known as “Oozfest”.

According to U.S. News and World Report’s 2013 edition of America’s Best Colleges, it ranked the university 106th on their list of “Best National Universities,” and also 51st among public universities. Moreover, the university has enrolled approximately 19,334 undergraduate students and also 9515 graduate students. The current president of the university is Satish K. Tripathi.
