Curriculum

Radio and Television Broadcasting is not only about learning communication skills but also teaches students the many skills required “behind the scene” for effective entertainment and information sharing over the air. Students in the Radio Broadcasting certificate will learn to make radio impactful and exciting, taking specialized courses in digital audio production, radio station operation, broadcast writing and mass communication practices.

Those enrolled in the two-year degree will delve into the current trends and colorful history of radio and television, requiring students to learn how to write, shoot, edit and produce a variety of pieces from commercials to documentaries to news packages and more.
